Join the Seattle/King County Coalition on Homelessness for “Helping Homeless Students: McKinney-Vento 101,” a workshop for school staff and case managers that will provide an overview of educational rights and common issues for homeless students. This workshop will introduce the federal McKinney-Vento Homelessness Assistance Act, which promotes educational stability, school access, support for academic success, and child-centered decision-making for homeless youth, children, and families.

This training opportunity is open to anyone who works with students who are homeless in King County public schools. Learn more about the workshop and register at the event page.
