Interfaith Poverty Immersion Workshop

Date:
Sunday, November 16th, 2014 from 10:00am to 12:00pm
Location:
Temple De Hirsch Sinai | 1441 16th Avenue | Seattle, WA 98122

Join the Seattle University Faith and Family Homelessness Project and Temple De Hirsch Sinai for a poverty workshop. The experience is designed to help participants begin to understand what it might be like to live in a typical low-income family trying to survive from month to month.

During the two-hour simulation, participants will:

  • Role play a month in the lives of low-income families
  • meet others who care about the issue, and
  • explore the impact of poverty on our community.

Please register for this free workshop on the event website. Walk-in participants will be accommodated as space allows.
